Enable Location Access

If the “My Location” button is not working, follow these steps to activate location services.

How to enable location services

iOS 18 and newer (Safari)

  • System settings: go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services. Ensure the top toggle is ON.
  • Safari access: in that same list, scroll to Safari Websites and set it to While Using the App.
  • Inside Safari: open the map. Tap the menu icon (square with lines) on the left side of the address bar. Tap the three dots in the bottom-right corner, scroll down, and switch Location to ON.

Android 12 and newer (Chrome)

  • Browser access: open Chrome and go to the map.
  • Adjust permissions: tap the sliders icon (or lock icon) left of the URL in the address bar.
  • Allow: tap Permissions and switch Location to ON.
  • If this does not work: go to three dots (menu) > Settings > Site settings > Location and make sure the website is not blocked.

Quick fix

Not getting a permission popup at all? Refresh the page. This often triggers the browser permission prompt again.
