If the My Location button is not working, follow these steps to enable location services for the map.
iOS 18 and newer (Safari)
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and make sure the top toggle is on.
- In the same list, scroll to Safari Websites and set it to While Using the App.
- Then open the map in Safari. Tap the menu icon (the square with lines) on the left side of the address bar, tap the three dots in the bottom-right corner, scroll down, and switch Location on.
Android 12 and newer (Chrome)
- Open Chrome and go to the map.
- Tap the sliders icon or the lock icon to the left of the URL in the address bar.
- Tap Permissions and switch Location on.
- Still not working? Go to three dots > Settings > Site settings > Location and check that the website is not blocked.
Quick fix
Not getting a permission popup? Refresh the page. This often makes the browser ask for location access again.
