De boerderij Landgoud is gelegen pal aan de Groninger Waddenkust in een poldergebied met opstrekkende heerden, precies op de rand van een wierden- (terpen)gebied met veel akkerbouw. Het bestaat uit 50 ha akkerbouwgrond en daarnaast nog dijken en kwelder in het Waddenzee Werelderfgoed gebied. Al generaties lang boeren wij in deze kleistreek. We zijn in de afgelopen jaren uitgegroeid van het hobbymatig houden van varkens tot een volwaardige biologische kleinschalige boerderij mét slagerij en biologische winkel.Voor ons begon het allemaal bij een vraag van onze kinderen. Waar komt het vlees eigenlijk vandaan? En hebben de dieren wel een goed leven gehad? Echt zeker weten konden we dat niet vonden wij. Daarom zijn we begonnen met ons eigen varkensvlees.
